Stroganoff Sandwiches

Ingredients

- 2/3 cup beer
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 garlic clove, slivered
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 lbs flank steaks
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 4 cups onions, sliced
- 1/4 cup mushroom, sliced
- 12 ounces sour cream
- 1 teaspoon horseradish
- 12 slices french bread
Recipe
- 1 combine beer, oil, salt , garlic and pepper in large bowl. add meat and marinate covered, overnight.
- 2 drain meat. grill or broil meat till desired amount of doneness.
- 3 in medium saucepan, melt butter with paprika and salt. add onions and mushrooms, cook until onions are tender.
- 4 remove from heat and stir in sour cream and horseradish.
- 5 slice meat into thin strips. lightly toast bread.
- 6 place meat over toast, cover with sour cream sauce. sprinkle with paprika.
