Pepper Steak

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 3 tablespoons cooking oil
- 2 lbs chuck roast or 2 lbs steak, cut into thin strips
- 3 cups water
- 2 beef bouillon cubes
- 1 red bell pepper, cut in strips
- 1 green bell pepper, cut in strips
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
Recipe
- 1 brown meat in oil.
- 2 add 2 cups water and bouillon cubes.
- 3 cover and simmer 1 hour or until meat is tender.
- 4 then add green and red peppers.
- 5 blend together cornstarch, soy sauce and 1 cup water.
- 6 add to meat mixture, stirring slowly until thickened.
- 7 serve over fluffy cooked rice and additional soy sauce.
- 8 note: i make this in an electric skillet.
