Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff

Total Time: 9 hrs 20 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 9 hrs

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs beef round steak
  • 3/4 cup flour, divided
  • 1/2 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • 2 onions, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 lb fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 (10 ounce) can beef broth
  • 1/4 cup dry wine
  • 1 (8 ounce) carton sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce

Recipe

  • 1 trim excess fat from steak and cut into 3 inch strips, about 1/2 inch wide.
  • 2 in a bowl, combine 1/2 cup flour, mustard, and a dash salt and pepper, and toss with steak sterips.
  • 3 place strips in oblong slow cooker sprayed with vegetable cooking spray.
  • 4 cover with onions and mushrooms. add beef broth, wine, and worcestershire sauce.
  • 5 cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours.
  • 6 just before serving, combine sour cream and 1/4 cup flour.
  • 7 stir in slow cooker and cook for 10-15 minutes or til stroganoff thickens slightly.
