My Deer Husband Venison

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 4 (6 ounce) venison steak (4)
  • hickory smoked bacon (one for each steak)
  • 8 ounces of sliced baby portabella mushrooms
  • 1 medium yellow onion (sliced)
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 tablespoons worcestershire sauce

Recipe

  • 1 leave venison steak flat and wind each steak with a slice of hickory bacon.
  • 2 place in frying pan and cook until medium (pink in the middle).
  • 3 remove steak from pan.
  • 4 in same pan, heat butter until melted.
  • 5 add mushrooms and onions.
  • 6 saute until mushrooms and onions are tender.
  • 7 add worcestershire to mushroom and onions.
  • 8 serve steaks topped with mushrooms and onions.
  • 9 serve with a side dish of rice.
