Libbies Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1 lb steak
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 6 1/2 ounces mushrooms
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon parsley
- 8 ounces egg noodles, cooked drained
Recipe
- 1 pound flour salt and pepper into steak; i am guessing round steak. if you buy tenderized steak it is not such a chore and won't have to cook as long.
- 2 melt the butter and cook onions; add garlic.
- 3 add meat that has been cut into thin strips.
- 4 add mushrooms with juice, water, and soup.
- 5 cook over very low heat for 75 minutes. you may have to add more water here.
- 6 when meat is tender, add sour cream and parsley just before serving.
- 7 serve over egg noodles or just mix in to coat noodles.
