Ruth's Simple Glazed Ham Steaks

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 2 large ham steaks (about 1/2 inch thick each)
- 1 cup apple jelly
- 2/3 cup prepared yellow mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Recipe
- 1 trim the fat around the edges of the ham steaks.
- 2 melt the apple jelly in a large skillet over medium heat for about 1-2 minutes.
- 3 add mustard and pepper; mix in well.
- 4 place ham steaks into skillet and spoon sauce over them to cover.
- 5 cook, uncovered, about 5 minutes per side, basting often.
- 6 turn out ham to a serving platter.
- 7 cut into serving size pieces as desired.
