Ruth's Simple Glazed Ham Steaks

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 large ham steaks (about 1/2 inch thick each)
  • 1 cup apple jelly
  • 2/3 cup prepared yellow mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Recipe

  • 1 trim the fat around the edges of the ham steaks.
  • 2 melt the apple jelly in a large skillet over medium heat for about 1-2 minutes.
  • 3 add mustard and pepper; mix in well.
  • 4 place ham steaks into skillet and spoon sauce over them to cover.
  • 5 cook, uncovered, about 5 minutes per side, basting often.
  • 6 turn out ham to a serving platter.
  • 7 cut into serving size pieces as desired.
