Jeanne's Steak Fajitas With Special Marinade

Total Time: 2 hrs 30 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 2 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 4 green onions or 1/2 medium onion
  • 2 large garlic cloves
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 2 lbs skirt steaks

Recipe

  • 1 place all ingredients, except meat, in blender.
  • 2 blend for 1 minute.
  • 3 place meat in large plastic bag and pour marinade over all.
  • 4 close top securely and make sure all meat is covered with marinade.
  • 5 place in refrigerator for at least one hour.
  • 6 grill on high to desired doneness, or 5-10 minutes each side.
  • 7 remove from grill and cover with aluminum foil to rest for at least 30 minutes.
  • 8 slice thinly and mix with any juices from resting plate.
  • 9 serve with grilled or sauted onions and bell peppers, salsa, sour cream and flour tortillas.
