Philly Cheesesteak Lettuce Cups

Ingredients

- 3 ounces lean beef steaks
- 1/3 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1/4 cup onion, thinly sliced
- 1 slice 2% reduced-fat american cheese
- 2 leaves romaine lettuce or 2 leaves butter lettuce or 2 leaves green leaf lettuce
Recipe
- 1 slice steak into thin strips.
- 2 coat medium pan with nonstick cooking spray.
- 3 add mushrooms and onions; cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until onions are slightly browned.
- 4 set aside.
- 5 remove pan from heat and re-coat with nonstick spray.
- 6 cook steak strips over medium-high heat for 1-2 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- 7 break cheese slice into small strips.
- 8 place cheese on top of meat, still in the pan, and continue to cook until cheese melts.
- 9 remove from heat; mix beef strips with veggies.
- 10 serve in lettuce leaves.
