Salisbury Steaks

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 small onion, chopped fine
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 (10 ounce) can condensed french onion soup
  • 15 ounces water (1 1/2 soup cans)

Recipe

  • 1 saute mushrooms in butter. remove mushrooms from pan and set aside.
  • 2 mix together beef, egg, onion, bread crumbs, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. form into 4 patties.
  • 3 brown in same pan (add more fat if necessary).
  • 4 add onion soup and water. simmer 10 minute.
  • 5 add mushrooms and heat through.
