Peskyleo's Peppercorn Steak

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon black peppercorns, crushed
- 2 steaks, strip or 2 top sirloin steaks
- 2 -3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup red wine or 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 teaspoon ground mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon water
Recipe
- 1 rub pepper over both sides of steaks.
- 2 refrigerate for 15 minutes.
- 3 in an un-greased skillet, over medium high heat, brown steaks on both sides.
- 4 add butter and garlic; cook 4-6 minutes turning steaks once.
- 5 add worcestershire and cook 4-6 minutes longer, turning once or until meat is done.
- 6 remove steaks and keep warm.
- 7 combine wine or beef broth, mustard, sugar and add to the pan. stir to loosen brown bits.
- 8 combine cornstarch and water until smooth, then add to the pan.
- 9 bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.
- 10 serve with steaks.
