Korean Grilled Beef Skewers

Ingredients

- 1 lb boneless beef top sirloin steak
- 3 tablespoons reduced sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds (toasted)
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
Recipe
- 1 place steak in freezer 20 minutes. cut steak lengthwise into 1/4 inch-thick strips.
- 2 mix remaining ingredients in small bowl. place meat in large resealable plastic bag or glass dish. add marinade; turn to coat well.
- 3 refrigerate 30 minutes. remove steak from marinade. discard any remaining marinade. thread steak in zig-zag fashion onto skewers.
- 4 broil or grill over medium-high heat 6 to 8 minutes or until desired doneness.
