Mini Cheeseburger Salad

Ingredients

- 1 lb lean ground beef (sirloin or chuck)
- 1/4 cup dry breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons steak sauce
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 head iceburg lettuce
- 1 cup grape tomatoes, sliced in half
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 dill pickles
- 1/2 cup thousand island dressing
- 1/4 cup yellow mustard
Recipe
- 1 ingredients for burgers: in a bowl, lightly combine beef, breadcrumbs, steak sauce, onion and egg. lightly fold in shredded cheddar cheese.
- 2 gently form into four 3/4-inch patties. grill over medium-high heat on lightly oiled grill for 5-7 minutes per side or until digital instant-read thermometer inserted sideways into center of patty reads 160°f.
- 3 top iceburg lettuce wedges with cooked patties, halved grape tomatoes, shredded cheddar and sliced dill pickles.
- 4 salad dressing: combine thousand island dressing with mustard.
