Philly Cheese Steak Casserole

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 1 lb ground sirloin
- 1 1/2 lbs pasta (any variation on macaroni, ziti, egg noodles, etc. will do)
- 2 blocks provolone cheese (can use cheddar if you don't like provolone)
- 1 pint light cream
- 1 yellow pepper
- 1 green pepper
- 1 large onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1/4 cup butter
Recipe
- 1 prep: chop onions, peppers, and garlic.
- 2 shred the cheese, set aside 1/4
- 3 boil the pasta until just al dente.
- 4 in a separate pot, pour the cream and whisk in 3/4 of the cheese until smooth.
- 5 in a large skillet, brown the ground sirloin and add the onions, peppers, and garlic.
- 6 in an oven safe, large baking dish, combine the pasta, cheese sauce, and ground sirloin and vegetables.
- 7 cover with the rest of the cheese and top with pieces of butter.
- 8 let bake at 400 degrees until cheese is melted and light brown.
