Rako's Split Pea Soup

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 kg dried split peas
  • 375 g ham steaks
  • 400 g carrots
  • 673 g onions
  • 10 g chicken bouillon (better than bouillon)
  • 4 liters water
  • 350 chicken stock (homemade)
  • 350 g ham steaks

Recipe

  • 1 soak the peas over night if possible.
  • 2 add the water, peas, turn the flame on.
  • 3 chop up the ham, and saute.
  • 4 chop the carrots, and saute.
  • 5 chop the onions, and saute.
  • 6 add to the soup.
  • 7 pressure cook on high for 15 minutes.
