Salisbury Steak And Gravy

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/3 cup dry breadcrumbs (can use seasoned bread crumbs)
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped (about 1/4 cup)
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 (10 1/4 ounce) can franco-american beef gravy

Recipe

  • 1 mix beef, bread crumbs, onion, egg and water thoroughly.
  • 2 shape firmly into 4 patties, 1/2 inch thick.
  • 3 heat oil in medium skillet over medium-high heat.
  • 4 add patties and cook until brown.
  • 5 pour off fat.
  • 6 add gravy.
  • 7 heat to a boil.
  • 8 reduce heat to low.
  • 9 cover and cook 10 minutes or until patties are no longer pink.
