Salisbury Steak And Gravy

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 (10 ounce) can french onion soup
  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard

Recipe

  • 1 combine 1/3 cup soup, ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, salt and pepper. shape into 6 oval patties. brown on both sides and remove from pan.
  • 2 combine remaining ingredients in pan. stir together. return patties to pan and cover.
  • 3 cook on low for 20 minutes. remove from heat and let cool.
  • 4 place in freezer bag. label and freeze.
  • 5 to serve: thaw. heat until hot and gravy is bubbly. serve with mashed potatoes.
