Salisbury Steak

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 packages dry onion soup mix
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 can mushroom (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 thoroughly mix beef, 1 pkg soup mix,bread crumbs and egg.
  • 2 shape firmly into patties about 1/2 inch thick.
  • 3 brown in skillet.
  • 4 mix remaining pkg soup mix and flour in the water, pour over the patties.
  • 5 add mushrooms (if desired).
  • 6 cover and cook over low heat for 20 minutes.
  • 7 stir occasionally.
