Salisbury Steak

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/3 cup dry breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 (10 ounce) can condensed golden mushroom soup
  • 1/3 cup water

Recipe

  • 1 mix ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, and egg thoroughly.
  • 2 shape firmly into 4 patties, 1/2 inch thick.
  • 3 heat butter in skillet over medium heat.
  • 4 add patties and cook until brown.
  • 5 pour off fat.
  • 6 combine soup and water; pour over patties.
  • 7 heat to a boil.
  • 8 reduce heat to low.
  • 9 cover and cook 10 minutes more.
