Lamb-sauerkraut Skillet

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 lamb blade steaks (about 1/2 inch thick)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 medium onion, sliced thin
  • 1 (16 ounce) can sauerkraut, drained
  • 1 cup dry wine
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed

Recipe

  • 1 cook lamb steaks in skillet over medium heat until browned on both sides.
  • 2 drain.
  • 3 sprinkle with salt and pepper and reduce heat.
  • 4 place onion and sauerkraut over lamb.
  • 5 mix wine, paprika and garlic and pour over sauerkraut.
  • 6 cover and simmer 35 mins til lamb is tender.
