Stroganoff, Italian Style

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 lb strip steaks or 1 lb rib eye
  • 29 ounces diced tomatoes, canned
  • 1 lb frozen italian cut green beans, thawed
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 1 lb broad egg noodle, cooked
  • salt
  • pepper

Recipe

  • 1 coat a large nonstick skillet with cooking spray and heat over medium high heat.
  • 2 season steaks with salt and pepper.
  • 3 place steaks in skillet and cook 3 minutes on each side or until internal temperature reaches 140 degrees f.
  • 4 remove steaks from heat and keep warm.
  • 5 add tomatoes, salt, pepper and beans to skillet.
  • 6 bring to simmer and cook 2 minutes.
  • 7 reduce heat to medium low.
  • 8 slice steaks.
  • 9 add steaks and sour cream to skillet; gently heat through, 1 to 2 minutes.
  • 10 do not let boil.
  • 11 serve stroganoff over noodles.
