Stroganoff Sandwiches

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 2/3 cup beer
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 garlic clove, slivered
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 lbs flank steaks
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 4 cups onions, sliced
  • 1/4 cup mushroom, sliced
  • 12 ounces sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon horseradish
  • 12 slices french bread

Recipe

  • 1 combine beer, oil, salt , garlic and pepper in large bowl. add meat and marinate covered, overnight.
  • 2 drain meat. grill or broil meat till desired amount of doneness.
  • 3 in medium saucepan, melt butter with paprika and salt. add onions and mushrooms, cook until onions are tender.
  • 4 remove from heat and stir in sour cream and horseradish.
  • 5 slice meat into thin strips. lightly toast bread.
  • 6 place meat over toast, cover with sour cream sauce. sprinkle with paprika.
