Marinated Flank Steak

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced (about 2 tsp)
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon heinz chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 lbs flank steaks

Recipe

  • 1 combine all ingredients in large zip top bag. seal tightly, pressing out as much air as possible. refrigerate and let marinate over night (or at least 6 hours).
  • 2 preheat broiler, or set up outdoor grill for high direct heat. wrap broiler pan in foil and poke holes to let juices drain.
  • 3 remove meat from marinade and discard marinade. broil or grill 4-6 minutes per side (4 for medium rare, 6 for medium). slice thinly across the grain to serve.
