Party Ginger Beef Bites

Ingredients

- 3 lbs lean beef
- 6 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1/2 cup coarsely chopped fresh ginger
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup dry sherry or 1/4 cup vermouth
- 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
Recipe
- 1 trim beef and cut into 3/4 inch cubes.
- 2 in a medium bowl, combine the garlic and all of the liquid ingredients. add meat and toss to coat. refrigerate 1-2 hours or overnight.
- 3 soak bamboo skewers in water for at least 30 minutes.
- 4 prepare a hot fire. drain meat, reserving marinade, and pat dry.
- 5 thread 2-3 chunks of meat per skewer. grill over hot coals, turning once and brushing with reserved marinade.
