Party Ginger Beef Bites

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 35 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 24
  • 3 lbs lean beef
  • 6 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1/2 cup coarsely chopped fresh ginger
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup dry sherry or 1/4 cup vermouth
  • 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil

Recipe

  • 1 trim beef and cut into 3/4 inch cubes.
  • 2 in a medium bowl, combine the garlic and all of the liquid ingredients. add meat and toss to coat. refrigerate 1-2 hours or overnight.
  • 3 soak bamboo skewers in water for at least 30 minutes.
  • 4 prepare a hot fire. drain meat, reserving marinade, and pat dry.
  • 5 thread 2-3 chunks of meat per skewer. grill over hot coals, turning once and brushing with reserved marinade.
