Marinated Flank Steak

Ingredients

- 1 1/2 teaspoons ginger
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 1/2 cup canola oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons scallions, chopped
- 1 1/2 lbs flank steaks, trimmed of all visible fat
- 4 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
- 4 tablespoons honey
Recipe
- 1 combine all ingredients in a baking dish and mix thoroughly.
- 2 marinate steak for eight hours in the refrigerator.
- 3 preheat broiler.
- 4 place meat in broiling pan and broil 4 to 6 inches (10.6 to 15.2 cm) from heat for 5 minutes on each side.
- 5 remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes.
- 6 slice thinly 'across the grain' and serve.
