Marinated Flank Steak

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ginger
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons scallions, chopped
  • 1 1/2 lbs flank steaks, trimmed of all visible fat
  • 4 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
  • 4 tablespoons honey

Recipe

  • 1 combine all ingredients in a baking dish and mix thoroughly.
  • 2 marinate steak for eight hours in the refrigerator.
  • 3 preheat broiler.
  • 4 place meat in broiling pan and broil 4 to 6 inches (10.6 to 15.2 cm) from heat for 5 minutes on each side.
  • 5 remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes.
  • 6 slice thinly 'across the grain' and serve.
