Steak San Marco

Ingredients
- 2 lbs chuck steaks, 1 inch thick, cut into serving pieces
- 1 (1 ounce) envelope onion soup mix (we use lipton)
- 1 (28 ounce) can peeled italian tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- pepper
- garlic powder
Recipe
- 1 in a large skillet, arrange meat; cover with onion soup mix and tomatoes (cut tomatoes into pieces).
- 2 sprinkle with oregano, garlic powder, pepper, oil and vinegar.
- 3 bring to a simmer; cover and cook 1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender.
