Steak San Marco

Total Time: 1 hr 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chuck steaks, 1 inch thick, cut into serving pieces
  • 1 (1 ounce) envelope onion soup mix (we use lipton)
  • 1 (28 ounce) can peeled italian tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • pepper
  • garlic powder

Recipe

  • 1 in a large skillet, arrange meat; cover with onion soup mix and tomatoes (cut tomatoes into pieces).
  • 2 sprinkle with oregano, garlic powder, pepper, oil and vinegar.
  • 3 bring to a simmer; cover and cook 1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender.
