Stripped Steak

Ingredients

- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 lbs round steaks, cut in strips
- 1 (4 ounce) can mushrooms, drained
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 (10 ounce) can beef broth
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- salt and pepper, to taste
- rice or noodles
Recipe
- 1 saute onion in butter for 5 minutes.
- 2 add steak strips and mushrooms.
- 3 saute 5 to 10 minutes longer.
- 4 add broth, mustard, brown sugar, worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, salt and pepper.
- 5 blend flour into water and add to pan.
- 6 mix well.
- 7 cover and simmer over low heat for 45 to 60 minutes or until steak is tender.
