Grilled Rib Eye Steaks With Six-spice Rub

Ingredients

- 2 tablespoons ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon ground paprika
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 lbs boneless rib-eye steaks (each about 1 1/4 inches thick)
- 8 lemon wedges
Recipe
- 1 blend first 6 ingredients in small bowl.
- 2 mix in oil to form smooth paste.
- 3 rub mixture over steaks.
- 4 transfer to baking pan.
- 5 cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 3 hours or overnight.
- 6 prepare barbecue (medium-high heat).
- 7 sprinkle steaks with salt.
- 8 grill to desired doneness, about 5 minutes per side for medium-rare.
- 9 place on cutting board; let stand 4 minutes.
- 10 cut steaks into 1/2-inch-thick diagonal slices.
- 11 transfer to platter.
- 12 sprinkle with salt.
