Grilled Sesame-garlic Beef Skewers

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons dry sherry
- 1 tablespoon peanut oil
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger
- 1 lb beef top round steak, cut into 1/4-by-3-inch strips
- 24 snow peas, trimmed and strings removed, blanched
Recipe
- 1 in a shallow glass baking dish, combine the worcestershire, sherry, peanut oil, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
- 2 alternately thread the beef strips and snow peas on twelve 10-inch bamboo skewers.
- 3 place the skewers in the baking dish and turn to coat with the marinade.
- 4 cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or up to 4 hours, turning the skewers several times.
- 5 remove the skewers from the refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking.
- 6 light a fire in a charcoal grill or preheat a gas grill or broiler.
- 7 grill or broil the skewers for 4- to 6 minutes on each side.
- 8 serve immediately.
