Lamb With A Cheese Crust

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 lamb loin steaks
  • 3 ounces cheddar cheese, grated
  • 2 ounces fresh breadcrumbs
  • 2 ounces pecan halves, chopped
  • 1 green apple, peeled, cored and grated
  • 2 tablespoons flat leaf parsley, chopped
  • fresh ground black pepper

Recipe

  • 1 broil the chops or steaks for approximately 15 minutes, turning occasionally until cooked through.
  • 2 mix together the cheese, breadcrumbs, nuts, apple, most of the parsley and season to taste.
  • 3 divide the mixture into 4 and press 1 portion on top of each chop or steak. return to the broiler until golden and then serve sprinkled with the remaining chopped parsley.
