Lower-guilt Level Philly Cheesesteak

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1 medium yellow onion, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, julienned
- 1 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced and lean
- 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
- 4 whole wheat rolls, the low calorie hot dog kind
- 1/4 cup 2% velveeta cheese
- 1 tablespoon fat-free half-and-half
- salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
Recipe
- 1 bring a large skillet up to medium high heat and add non-stick cooking spray. add onion and peppers, season, and cook until they begin to caramelize. remove from heat.
- 2 spray the pan again with non-stick cooking spray and allow to come back to medium high heat. add steak and season with salt, pepper, and worcestershire sauce. cook until steak is to desired doneness - about 2 minutes per side.
- 3 melt cheese on stove or microwave with the half and half. stir frequently until it is smooth and melted.
- 4 toast or warm rolls, spread even amounts of cheese on each roll. top with even amounts of onion/pepper mixture and steak.
