Montreal Garlic Smashed Potatoes

Ingredients
- Servings: 5
- 2 lbs baby red potatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 1/4 teaspoons mccormick grill mates mccormick's montreal brand steak seasoning
- 1 teaspoon mccormick garlic powder
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup sour cream
Recipe
- 1 cover potatoes with water and bring to a boil.
- 2 reduce heat to medium and cook for about 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
- 3 drain potatoes and return to saucepan and reduce heat to low.
- 4 add parmesan cheese, steak seasoning and garlic powder.
- 5 mash potatoes with a fork or potato masher.
- 6 gradually add milk, butter and sour cream until all ingredients are combined.
- 7 serve immediately or spoon into a lightly buttered 1 1/2 quart baking dish.
- 8 cover and keep warm in a 250° oven until ready to serve.
