New England Flank Grill

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 1/2 lbs flank steaks
  • 3/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • fresh ground pepper

Recipe

  • 1 combine maple syrup, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, and pepper in a bowl.
  • 2 place flank steak in a plastic bag with marinade.
  • 3 refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight.
  • 4 strain marinade into a sauce pan and cook on low heat.
  • 5 meanwhile, heat the grill to medium-high.
  • 6 place steak on grill and cook 5 minutes per side.
  • 7 cut into thin slices against the grain.
  • 8 serve with the heated marinade.
