Ingredients

- 1 lb ground round
- 1 organic egg, beaten
- 1 cup fresh sourdough bread, torn into small pieces
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 dash salt
- fresh ground pepper
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup merlot
Recipe
- 1 combine beef, egg, bread pieces, ketchup, worcestershire sauce, salt & pepper. make into 4 flattened patties, pat with fine bread crumbs. brown in buttered skillet. combine soup & merlot and pour over steak cover & simmer 30-35 minute.
- 2 serve with mashed red skinned potatoes and steamed asparagus. garnish with fresh parsley.
