Savory Salisbury Steak Recipes, Your New Family Favorite!

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb ground round
  • 1 organic egg, beaten
  • 1 cup fresh sourdough bread, torn into small pieces
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 dash salt
  • fresh ground pepper
  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup merlot

Recipe

  • 1 combine beef, egg, bread pieces, ketchup, worcestershire sauce, salt & pepper. make into 4 flattened patties, pat with fine bread crumbs. brown in buttered skillet. combine soup & merlot and pour over steak cover & simmer 30-35 minute.
  • 2 serve with mashed red skinned potatoes and steamed asparagus. garnish with fresh parsley.
