Low Carb Meat Loaf

Total Time: 1 hr 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs lean ground beef
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup skim milk
  • 1 1/4 ounces onion soup mix (one envelope)
  • 2 tablespoons steak sauce (carb options)
  • 1/2 cup wheat bran
  • 1 (8 ounce) can low salt tomato sauce

Recipe

  • 1 combine beef, eggs, milk, soup mix, steak sauce, wheat bran and 3/4 of the tomato sauce in a large bowl. i squish it all together with my freshly washed hands -- gets them kinda messy!
  • 2 place meat mixture in an oven proof pan, pour remaining tomato sauce on top and spread it around.
  • 3 cover and bake in a preheated to 350 degree for 1 hour.
  • 4 uncover and bake for another 15 - 30 minutes or until brown on top.
  • 5 remove from oven and let set for a few minutes.
