Robust London Broil

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb high-quality beef flank steak, 1 inch thick
  • 1/2 cup dry wine or 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon molasses
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Recipe

  • 1 cut both sides of beef in diamond pattern 1/8" deep.
  • 2 place beef in a shallow baking dish.
  • 3 mix remaining ingredients; pour over beef.
  • 4 about 15 minutes before serving, set oven to broil.
  • 5 place beef on rack in a broiler pan and broil 2-3" from heat for 5 minutes or til brown.
