Steak Or Veal Goulash

Ingredients

- 1 1/2 lbs veal or 1 1/2 lbs steak
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
- 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
- 2 1/2 cups canned tomatoes with juice
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 3 carrots, diced
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1 cup green pepper, finely chopped
Recipe
- 1 cut veal or steak into 1 1/2 inch cubes. coat meat with a mixture of the flour, salt ,pepper and celery salt. brown meat on both sides in hot butter. remove meat from skillet, add 2 tablespoons of flour mix to butter and mix thoroughly. add tomaotoes, molasses, carrots, onion and green pepper. return meat. cover and simmer gently 1 hour until meat is tender.
