grilled porterhouse steak w/bbq sauce

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 2 porterhouse steaks, 1 1/2 inch thich
- oil
- salt & pepper
- 1/2 cup dry red wine
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
- 1/4 teaspoon curry powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin
Recipe
- 1 mix sauce ingredients into a pot, bring to simmer and cook until reduced to 2/3 c, about 30 minutes.
- 2 heat grill, brush both sides of steak with oil, add salt& pepper, grill about 10 minutes/side for medium.
- 3 i always cook one rare too, 5 minutes/side.
- 4 carve steaks and serve with sauce.
