Marinated Lamb Steaks

Total Time: 3 hrs 10 mins Preparation Time: 3 hrs Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 8 lamb loin steaks
  • 5 large garlic cloves, minced
  • 10 sage leaves, finely chopped
  • 2 sprigs rosemary, leaves picked and finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • salt & freshly ground black pepper, to taste (use plenty though)
  • pam cooking spray (or other oil spray)

Recipe

  • 1 mix together the marinade ingredients to make a paste.
  • 2 lay the lamb steaks in one layer in a tray or 2 flatish bowls.
  • 3 with a small sharp knife make 4 small cuts in each steak.
  • 4 spread the paste evenly over the steaks, cover in plastic wrap and refridgerate for 3-4 hours.
  • 5 heat a non stick griddle or george foreman grill and spray the steaks with oil.
  • 6 cook the steaks for 6-8 mins or until cooked through.
  • 7 serve with mash.
