Phil's Fabulous Beef Jerky

Total Time: 10 hrs 20 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 10 hrs

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs sirloin tip steaks, thin cut
  • 5 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Recipe

  • 1 cut steak into 1 inch wide by 4 inches long strips. smaller, leftover pieces will cook well- don't just through them away!
  • 2 mix other 8 ingredients together.
  • 3 pour mixture over meat.
  • 4 coat each piece of meat with marinade.
  • 5 marinate in refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  • 6 place meat on dehydrator trays- do not overlap meat.
  • 7 dehydrate at 160 degrees for 10 hours.
  • 8 beef jerky will be crispy and dark brown.
