Slow Cooker..tangy Steak Supper

Total Time: 28 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 8 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 lbs beef round steak, cut into serving size
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 8 ounces french dressing, divided
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 8 ounces pineapple chunks, drained
  • 3 -4 cups cooked rice

Recipe

  • 1 roll steak in flour; brown in a skillet with 1/2 cup salad dressing --
  • 2 add salt and pepper to taste --
  • 3 arrange in a slow cooker --
  • 4 add remaining ingredients, onion, green pepper and pineapple, if using --
  • 5 cover and heat on low setting for 8-10 hours or on high setting for 4-6 hours --
  • 6 serve over prepared rice.
  • 7 sometimes we go the comfort food route -- and have mashed potatoes in place of noodles.
