Grilleed Steak With Blue Cheese Butter

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup blue cheese, crumbled (2oz)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 4 (12 ounce) new york strip steaks, 1 1/2-inch thick (about 12 oz. each)
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 preheat grill to high.
  • 2 combine: blue cheese, butter and parsley in a bowl with a fork. do not overmash. the cheese should remain chunky. set aside until ready to serve.
  • 3 pat steaks dry with paper towels, then season both sides with salt and pepper.
  • 4 grill steaks, covered, on both sides to desited doneness (about 5 minute per side for med-rare).
  • 5 remove from grill, tent with foil, and allow to rest 5 minute serve with dollop of blue cheese butter.
