Rachael Ray's Baby Back Ribs With Jammy Glaze

Ingredients

- 4 racks of baby-back lamb ribs
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
- 1 (10 ounce) jar seedless blackberry jam
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon steak sauce
- 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons hot sauce (to taste)
Recipe
- 1 place ribs in extra large pot.
- 2 cover with water and boil for 30 minutes.
- 3 remove from pot and pat dry.
- 4 stir together chili powder, salt and pepper and rub the mixture all over the ribs.
- 5 place on grill over medium to medium low heat, meaty side up, and cook 10 to 15 minutes.
- 6 while ribs are on the grill, in a small saucepan, combine the jam, ketchup, steak sauce and vinegar.
- 7 cook over medium heat, stirring often, until the glaze comes to a boil, about 5 minutes.
- 8 remove from heat and stir in the hot sauce.
- 9 brush glaze on the ribs and cook for 10 to 15 minutes longer until ribs are well done and glazed.
- 10 slice into individual ribs.
