Rachael Ray's Baby Back Ribs With Jammy Glaze

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 racks of baby-back lamb ribs
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
  • 1 (10 ounce) jar seedless blackberry jam
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon steak sauce
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce (to taste)

Recipe

  • 1 place ribs in extra large pot.
  • 2 cover with water and boil for 30 minutes.
  • 3 remove from pot and pat dry.
  • 4 stir together chili powder, salt and pepper and rub the mixture all over the ribs.
  • 5 place on grill over medium to medium low heat, meaty side up, and cook 10 to 15 minutes.
  • 6 while ribs are on the grill, in a small saucepan, combine the jam, ketchup, steak sauce and vinegar.
  • 7 cook over medium heat, stirring often, until the glaze comes to a boil, about 5 minutes.
  • 8 remove from heat and stir in the hot sauce.
  • 9 brush glaze on the ribs and cook for 10 to 15 minutes longer until ribs are well done and glazed.
  • 10 slice into individual ribs.
