Mince 'n' Mint Kebabs

Ingredients
- 250 g ground sausage 
- 250 g minced steak 
- 1 onion, grated 
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed 
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon rind 
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice 
- 1 teaspoon mixed herbs 
- 1/4 cup parsley, chopped 
- 1/4 cup cooked rice 
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste 
- 1 egg, lightly beaten 
- 1/4 cup mint jelly 
- 1 tablespoon french dressing 
- 2 teaspoons chopped mint or 1/2 teaspoon dried mint leaf 
Recipe
- 1 combine all the ingredients, mix well. 
- 2 shape tablespoonfuls of mixture into flat rolls around the end of 20 soaked wooden skewers. 
- 3 cover, refrigerate 30 min. 
- 4 barbecue until kebabs are browned all over and cooked thoroughly. 
- 5 mint dip: combine jelly and dressing in a pan, stir over low heat until jelly is melted, stir in mint.
