Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons dried onion flakes
- 1/2 cup pesto sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 lbs round steaks, cut into 6 pieces
- 2 pints grape tomatoes (about 4-1/2 cups)
- 1 lb fresh mozzarella cheese, drained, sliced, and brought to room temp by serving time
Recipe
- 1 grease crockpot with olive oil and leave the excess in the crock.
- 2 add the onion, pesto, and pepper to the crock, stirring to combine.
- 3 add steak to crock and turn the pieces with tongs to coat. add tomatoes.
- 4 cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
- 5 to serve, place steak in individual bowls. top each with a couple slices mozzarella and some of the tomato mixture.
