Ken's Flank Steak Marinade

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 1/2 lbs flank steaks
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar

Recipe

  • 1 place flank steak in large shallow dish (or large food storage bag).
  • 2 combine marinade ingredients, stirring well.
  • 3 pour over steak; cover and marinade in refrigerator 8 hours, turning bag or steak occasionally.
  • 4 drain steak, reserving marinade.
  • 5 grill steak to desired degree of doneness, basting often with marinade.
  • 6 to serve, slice steak across grain in thin slices.
