Mushrooms And Onions Toppers

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 12 ounces mushrooms (sliced or quatered)
  • 1 onion, peeled halved and sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, sliced thin
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Recipe

  • 1 melt butter with olive oil in a sauce pan.
  • 2 once the butter/oil is hot, add the thinly sliced onion. stir until onions become tender and begin to lightly brown about 10 minutes.
  • 3 mix the sliced mushrooms into the onions and finish the sauteing about 5 minutes.
  • 4 add paprika, worcestershire sauce, honey, salt and pepper to taste.
  • 5 serve over steaks, poultry, mashed potatoes.
