Mushrooms And Onions Toppers

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 12 ounces mushrooms (sliced or quatered)
- 1 onion, peeled halved and sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, sliced thin
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
Recipe
- 1 melt butter with olive oil in a sauce pan.
- 2 once the butter/oil is hot, add the thinly sliced onion. stir until onions become tender and begin to lightly brown about 10 minutes.
- 3 mix the sliced mushrooms into the onions and finish the sauteing about 5 minutes.
- 4 add paprika, worcestershire sauce, honey, salt and pepper to taste.
- 5 serve over steaks, poultry, mashed potatoes.
