Saucy Sonoran Cube Steak

Ingredients

• 1 cup breadcrumbs
• 1 tablespoon taco seasoning mix
• 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
• 4 (4 ounce) beef cube steaks or 4 (4 ounce) lamb cube steaks
• 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
• 3/4 cup bottled ranch dressing
• 1 tablespoon taco seasoning mix
• 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro

Recipe

• 1 steak: combine bread crumbs and taco mix in a shallow dish.
• 2 brush cube steaks with oil and press both sides of the steaks into the crumbs.
• 3 heat remaining oil in a non-stick skillet, cook steaks over medium high heat, 3-4 minutes per side.
• 4 sauce: while steaks are cooking, combine dressing and taco mix in a small sauce pan over medium heat, stirring until hot.
• 5 add cilantro and spoon over steaks just before serving.
