Grilled Ginger Lamb Satays With Thai Sauce

Total Time: 14 mins Preparation Time: 6 mins Cook Time: 8 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 1/2 lbs lamb steaks (cut in strips)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger (chopped)
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 3 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons coriander (chopped)
  • 1 dried red chili pepper (seeded & finely chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (toasted-optional)
  • jasmine rice (steamed)

Recipe

  • 1 combine lamb strips with gingr,garlic,sugar,fish sauce & sesame oil, refrigerate & marinate for 2-3 hours.
  • 2 thread lamb onto 8 bamboo skewers that have been soaked for 30 minute.
  • 3 while lamb is in marinade, prepare dipping sauce.
  • 4 combine lime juice, chili sauce,corinader & chill.
  • 5 heat barbecue and cook skewers and cook for 3-4 minute on each side or until lamb is cooked.
  • 6 serve sprinkled with toasted sesame seeds (optional) and dipping sauce and steamed jasmine rice.
