Mom's Mediterranean Steak Sauce

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce 
- 1/3 cup red wine 
- 3 garlic cloves, chopped 
- 1 medium onion, chopped 
- 8 black olives, pitted and chopped 
- 1 teaspoon oregano 
- 1 dash olive oil, to fry the garlic and onion 
-  salt 
-  pepper 
Recipe
- 1 1. heat some olive oil in a saucepan on medium heat. 
- 2 2. add the chopped garlic and onion and fry until slightly browned. 
- 3 3. add the tomato sauce, red wine, olives, and oregano. 
- 4 4. add salt and pepper if desired. 
- 5 5. simmer on low heat for approximately 15 minutes.
