Lamb Steak And Sauerkraut

Ingredients
- Servings: 1
- 1/2 tablespoon cooking oil
- 1 lamb shoulder chop
- 1 cup crispy sauerkraut, in cello bag (rinse if desired)
- 1/8-1/4 teaspoon caraway seed (optional)
- 3/4 cup beer
Recipe
- 1 remove excess fat from the lamb steak.
- 2 preheat skillet.
- 3 add oil and spread evenly in skillet.
- 4 brown lamb steak on both sides-- do not coat with flour.
- 5 add the sauerkraut to the lamb steak and spread evenly over the top of it.
- 6 sprinkle the caraway seeds over sauerkraut.
- 7 pour the beer over the lamb steak and 'kraut.
- 8 bring to a boil.
- 9 cover with a lid, lower heat and simmer until lamb steak is tender and done.(about 30 minutes).
- 10 the juice in the skillet might be a little cloudy in color but it is still good.
- 11 put on a dinner plate and enjoy!
